Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most — from zari purity to worldwide delivery.

Everything you need to know about our weaves, shipping and returns. Can’t find your answer? Talk to us.

Is your kasavu zari real gold?

Our wedding-grade kasavu uses tested zari with a genuine metallic (gold/silver) coating over a silk core — the traditional standard. Everyday kasavu uses high-grade half-fine zari, clearly mentioned on each product page. We never use plastic-film zari.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide, with most orders going to the Middle East, USA, UK, Australia and Canada. International shipping is a flat ₹1,499, fully tracked and insured, and typically delivers in 7–14 working days.

What is your return policy?

You have 7 days from delivery for a free return or exchange within India — we arrange doorstep pickup. Items must be unused with original folds and tags. Custom-stitched blouses and altered garments cannot be returned.

How do I care for a kasavu saree?

Cold hand wash for cotton kasavu (never machine-wash the zari border), dry clean for silk. Dry in shade, store wrapped in muslin with the border folded inward, and refold every few months. A full care card ships with every order.

Can you stitch a blouse to my measurements?

Yes — add stitching at checkout or WhatsApp us your measurements after ordering. Custom stitching adds 3–4 working days and stitched blouses are non-returnable.

Are your products genuinely handloom?

Every weave is sourced directly from handloom families in Thrissur, Balaramapuram, Chendamangalam and Kuthampully. Minor irregularities in the weave are natural signatures of the pit loom — proof, not defect.
