Every PRINTARA weave is checked thread by thread in our Thiruvananthapuram studio, folded in acid-free tissue and wrapped plastic-free in reusable cotton. Perfect for temple visit, festive.

Care Instructions

  • First wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
  • Dry in shade; medium iron while slightly damp.
  • Store folded with the zari border inward.

Is your kasavu zari real gold?

Our wedding-grade kasavu uses tested zari with a genuine metallic (gold/silver) coating over a silk core — the traditional standard. Everyday kasavu uses high-grade half-fine zari, clearly mentioned on each product page. We never use plastic-film zari.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide, with most orders going to the Middle East, USA, UK, Australia and Canada. International shipping is a flat ₹1,499, fully tracked and insured, and typically delivers in 7–14 working days.

What is your return policy?

You have 7 days from delivery for a free return or exchange within India — we arrange doorstep pickup. Items must be unused with original folds and tags. Custom-stitched blouses and altered garments cannot be returned.

How do I care for a kasavu saree?

Cold hand wash for cotton kasavu (never machine-wash the zari border), dry clean for silk. Dry in shade, store wrapped in muslin with the border folded inward, and refold every few months. A full care card ships with every order.
